PRAYER & FASTING
Compass was founded on the prayers of God’s people. We remember gathering with our core team weekly as God was in the early stages of forming Compass. We knew then that prayer would be our only method. This means we are a “pray first” people. When we embark on a new journey, sense God leading, or are desperate for the move of God, prayer is our utmost priority.
For this reason, in February, we are inviting our Compass View family to spend 21 days pressing into God’s presence through prayer and fasting. We will seek God collectively as a church beginning Monday, February 9th, until Sunday, March 1. The purpose is to take our focus off our earthly concerns and listen to what God has for our hearts, home, church, and town.

"One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts." (Psalm 145:4) This idea is at the center of our series. The next generation will be influenced and discipled—shaped by those who come before them. Who will help disciple and guide them? That is an important question for us all. In 25 years, in 2050, a new generation of leaders will step forward.
From This to That is a series designed to inspire us as we think about the future and the next generation. Together, we will explore three key themes.

Sermon 3 // Moving from the external to the internal.
