TEACHING SERIES
We are in a new teaching series…Compelling Disciples. Last Sunday, we looked at Matthew 28:17-20. For thousands of years, these words have compelled the church to stay focused on the task. The Great Commission and the final words of Jesus in Matthew’s Gospel are vital to us at Compass Church. They are a directive from Jesus. They are what drive us forward. We return to these words when things get hard, or we become consumed in ourselves. Jesus’ words help us locate our truth north as we let him set the needle on our compass.
Remember this definition. A disciple is one who is with Jesus, being transformed by Jesus, and doing what Jesus is doing in the world.
